GENERAL DESCRIPTION The Model 258 High Voltage Power Supply provides up to 500µA over the voltage range of 0V to 5kV with low ripple and excellent regulation. The supply's current capability and voltage is useful for biasing a wide range of semiconductor and other types of detectors. For applications requiring less than 500V and/or 5µA, the supply can be reconfigured for optimal performance over these ranges. A front panel 10-turn potentiometer and digital voltmeter allow precise voltage adjustment, and the output can be enabled or disabled with a front panel on/off switch or via a rear panel logic input. The supply does not generate audible noise. |

| Current Meter: | Accuracy 3% + 1 digit. Resolution .2% of range. |
| HV Inhibit: | Real Panel BNC input, < + 1.5V shuts down H.V. output to 0V (driver must sink 1mA), > + 3V (or open circuit) restores output. |
