ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

  1. The face of the front panel is the side with the four countersunk screw holes. Using the oval head 3/8" screws, mount the extruded railing to the top and bottom of the right hand edge. The side of the extrusion with the slot should face inward.
  2. The 1/4" bar railing should then be mounted to the top and bottom of the left edge. You will note that one side of the bar railing has countersunk drilled and tapped holes - these should face outward.
  3. The rear panel may now be attached using the flathead 3/8" screws.
  4. The perforated top and bottom slide into the slot in the inside face of the extruded railing. These pieces are held in place by the left side cover. The parts are secured by four 3/16" screws.
  5. The right side cover fits between the two extruded railings and is secured by four flat head 3/16" screws.
  6. You will find the location of the pre-drilled and tapped holes on the extruded railing most convenient for mounting printed circuit boards or components. There is sufficient clearance, in most cases, to mount the board directly to the railings.
NOTE: An optional aluminum chassis provides a convenient method of mounting connectors for boards or components too heavy for printed circuit boards. The optional chassis fits between the lower extruded railings and the lower 1/4" bar railing. The flange fits over the drilled and tapped holes on the bar stock. The opposite side fits on the inside ledge of the extruded railing. Mounting screws are provided. Specify chassis by Module Kit Model No. followed by: -08. Example:  103-08 describes chassis for 3 wide module kit.
